Looking to celebrate National Gin Day in style this Saturday? Sheffield is home to a whole host of bars that are serving up some of the finest varieties of gin available so that you can enjoy your favourite gins late into the evening. Whether it’s fruity, dry, bitter or sour, use #SheffAfter5 to share your favourite places to grab a gin.
The Devonshire - 113-117 Devonshire St
When it comes to gin, The Devonshire doesn’t fall short. They’ve tried hundreds of gins to bring you the very best from around the world. The team at The Devonshire understand that the gin market is still growing and evolving so, in addition to their core range of 100 gins, you will always find something new and interesting to try.
The Devonshire have chosen not to recommend a particular tonic or garnish with their gins, as they know that you'll have your own personal taste. That being said, if you’d prefer your gin served in a particular way or would like a recommendation, their bartenders will be more than happy to create the best serve for you.
You can also try The Devonshire’s very own Sheffield Dry Gin, which is made in small batches in a handsome copper still to ensure the highest quality every time. This is the first gin to be distilled in Sheffield in over 100 years, only a stone’s throw from The Devonshire itself. The distillers, originally bartenders, created this gin to compliment a wide variety of tonics, and it holds its own in any cocktail. Open until 3am this Saturday, you have plenty of time to enjoy a gin tipple or two at The Devonshire.
