During December, La Biblioteka on Pinstone Street will be hosting pop – up shops from some of Sheffield’s most -loved independent businesses.
On Friday 1 December, Nether Edge florists Moss and Clover will be transforming La Biblioteka’s first floor salon into an urban jungle, filled with seasonal blooms, terrariums and plants. With plenty of festive foliage, this event is ideal if you’re looking for an alternative to the traditional Christmas tree or to fill the stockings of green fingered friends. Running through until Sunday 3 December, there is plenty of time to catch Moss and Clover at La Biblioteka.
On Saturday 9 December, Labrador will be presenting homeware, ceramics, toys and accessories produced by independent makers and designers with a shared approach to craft and material purpose.
On Friday 15 December and Saturday 16 December, Essence and Alchemy, a beautiful collection of earth friendly, small-batch botanical scented goods will be available at La Biblioteka. Simple and natural, Essence and Alchemy products are made without synthetic fragrances and additives, using plant based ingredients and essential oils instead.
Open until 6pm on weeknights, La Biblioteka specialises in magazines and books that span fashion, literature, travel, architecture, food, art, and other printed matter. The multidisciplinary space also hosts readings, discussion groups, and launch events, and collaborates with cultural organizations and various projects in and around Sheffield.
