18 December – Santa’s Post Office
Santa’s Post Office on Chapel Walk has been visited by more than 3000 children since it opened on 18 November, with families from Sheffield and beyond visiting the Christmas experience to write their letters to Santa.
At Santa’s Post Office, children enter a magical world to write and decorate their letters to the big man before posting them into a special letter box. Once posted, they are able to watch their letter on an enchanted journey to Lapland. As the children watch the journey, Santa's elves hand parents a reply with their address on it, stamped by Santa.
For little ones who haven’t yet written their letter to Santa – there’s plenty of time to visit the elves at Santa’s Post Office. Santa’s Post Office is open from 11am – 4pm until 23 December. On Thursday 21 December, Santa’s Post Office will be open until 7pm to tie in with Sheffield’s late night shopping evening.
